Bloomsburg University To Hold In-Person Spring Commencement Ceremonies

 

BLOOMSBURG--Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania will hold its 152nd Spring Commencement ceremonies outdoors (rain or shine) at Redman Stadium from Friday, May 14, to Sunday, May 16, with ceremonies scheduled as follows:

Friday, May 14

6 p.m. – School of Graduate Studies

Saturday, May 15

10 a.m. – College of Education

3 p.m. – College of Science and Technology

Sunday, May 16

10 a.m. – Zeigler College of Business

3 p.m. – College of Liberal Arts

 

Nearly 1,300 students will participate in undergraduate commencement, and more than 200 students will be awarded masters and doctoral degrees.

All graduates will be limited to two guests each to properly support social distancing in the seating area.

There will be NO busing during commencement. Individuals will be required to walk from the nearby parking lots to Redman Stadium. If you have a handicap placard or license plate, there will be a drop-off area and designated parking near the entrance of Redman Stadium. BUPD will provide directions.

Umbrellas are not permitted inside Redman Stadium. In the event of rain, please be sure to have rain gear.

No concessions will be available this year due to COVID restrictions. Therefore, we encourage all guests to bring a plastic bottle of water in the event of warm weather.
