BLOOMSBURG—The Bloomsburg University Council of Trustees held its quarterly meeting virtually on June 3.
During the meeting, members accepted the nominating committee’s recommendations and voted to reelect its current slate of executive officers to serve an additional two-year term. Unanimously reelected were the Honorable Judge Mary Jane Bowes, chair; Nancy Vasta ’97/’99M, vice chair; and Dr. Brian O’Donnell ’86, secretary.
“I express my congratulations to the newly reelected officers, and my gratitude to all the trustees for their collective guidance and support,” said Bloomsburg University President Bashar W. Hanna. “Under their leadership, I look forward to working with them as we address the needs of our University in support of our students and their success.”
“On behalf of my fellow officers, Nancy Vasta and Brian O’Donnell, I appreciate the confidence and support of our fellow trustees, and am honored to continue to serve,” said Judge Bowes. “I look forward to continuing to collaborate with the entire Council of Trustees, as well as Dr. Hanna and his leadership team. Despite the challenges the COVID-19 pandemic has brought BU in recent months, we remain focused on ensuring the safety and welfare of our students, and achieving the University’s mission of preparing them for personal and professional success.”
