Bloomsburg University Donates PPE Items to Geisinger Bloomsburg Hospital

BLOOMSBURG—Bloomsburg University made another donation of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) to Geisinger Bloomsburg Hospital on Wednesday, April 8.

The university donated:
164, 3M N95 8511 /Respirators with Exhalation Valves;
120, North N95 7130N95 Respirators;
100, 3M N95 8210 Respirators;
800, 3M N95 8210 Plus Respirators;
3,700, Moore Medical Soft Tie On Surgical Masks;
28, CROSSTEX N95 Fluid Resistant Surgical Face Masks
300, Moore Medical Isolation Gowns
15, Busse Personal Protective Disposable Gowns
50, Tyvek Coveralls (box XL; Med)

“Health care workers are on the front lines of this pandemic,” said Bashar Hanna, President of Bloomsburg University. “We are grateful for the personal sacrifices they are making to help those suffering with COVID-19, and donating to give Geisinger Medical Center items that will help keep them safe is the least we can do.”

This is the second donation of gowns and masks that the University has made to GMC in the last few weeks. Bloomsburg University Police assisted in the delivery of the items to Geisinger Bloomsburg Hospital.
