Student Soloists to perform with Bloomsburg University-Community Orchestra

BLOOMSBURG—Two Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania students will be featured soloists with the Bloomsburg University-Community Orchestra on Sunday, March 1, at 2:30 p.m. in Haas Center for the Arts, Mitrani Hall. Featured performers will be Sarah Anderson, a clarinet and sociology double major, and Aaron Eldred, a guitar and environmental science double major.

The program will include Ludwig van Beethoven: Coriolan Overture; Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart: Clarinet Concerto in A: movement 2, featuring Sarah Anderson, clarinet; Gordon Ring: Variations on a Motive of Beethoven; Heitor Villa-Lobos: Concerto for Guitar and Small Orchestra, featuring Aaron Eldred, guitar; and Gwyneth Walker: Open the Door.

David Tedford directs the orchestra and the concert is free and open to the public.
