Nursing program ranked fourth in state by RNCareers.org

BLOOMSBURG—The Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania Department of Nursing is ranked fourth in the state of Pennsylvania by RN Careers.org. Bloomsburg is also ranked 51st nationally by the organization.

Bloomsburg’s overall score is 97.29 percent. Programs were ranked by their accumulated NCLEX-RN passing rates for the last three years as reported by their state board of nursing. Programs accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) were also given a higher weighting. The BU bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral (DNP) degree programs are accredited by the CCNE.

Bloomsburg University was the highest ranked school from the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education in the RN Careers.org ranking.

Bloomsburg University is one of 14 universities in Pennsylvania’s State System of Higher Education. The university serves approximately 8,900 students, offering comprehensive programs of study in the colleges of Education, Business, Liberal Arts and Science and Technology.
