Professors to explore perceptions of the ‘Good Life’

BLOOMSBURG— Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania’s Institute for Culture and Society will host the second event in “Bloomsburg Explores Human Potential” series on Wednesday, Feb. 27, at 6 p.m. in Centennial Hall, room 218.

Faculty in BU’s Department of Communication Studies, including assistant professors Robert Green, Eric Miller and James Petre; associate professors Paula Hopeck and David Heineman; and instructor Elizabeth Petre, will discuss what it means to live the “good life” in a panel discussion titled “Exploring the Conceptions of the ‘Good Life’.”

The professors will discuss their perception of the “good life” and how they put these concepts are put into practice. Questions such as is the “good life” as a concept valuable, worthwhile, or even necessary will be addressed. The panelists will consider how our everyday interactions and/or public policies speak to the “good life.”
