BLOOMSBURG— Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania will partner with the Office of Governor Tom Wolf to host a Cabinet in Your Community event on Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. Anyone who is interested in attending will need to RSVP. Governor Wolf’s Cabinet in Your Community series is a new initiative to provide a platform for engagement between cabinet secretaries and local communities throughout Pennsylvania. The forum is a town hall-like event in which members of the community have the opportunity to interact with cabinet secretaries and talk about issues important to each region. Additionally, the secretaries will provide region-specific updates on major projects and departmental accomplishments while answering questions from the audience. Cabinet secretaries expected to attend include: Colonel Tyree Blocker, Pennsylvania State Police Commissioner; Russell Redding, Secretary of Agriculture; Leslie Richards, Secretary of Transportation; Pedro Rivera, Secretary of Education; and John Wetzel '98, Secretary of Corrections.
