BLOOMSBURG — Activities following the theme, “Patriotic USA,” will be featured at the sixth annual Springfest on Friday and Saturday, April 15 and 16, at Bloomsburg University.
The free event is sponsored by BU’s Center for Leadership and Engagement.
Springfest will begin with music, entertainment, games and carnival concessions Friday, April 15, at 6 p.m. on the lower campus near Lycoming Residence Hall, Scranton Commons and Kehr Union.
Saturday’s events on the upper campus will start at 10 a.m. and include the rockwall and zipline, free refreshments, pet therapy, a banner contest, games, crafts and bingo. Registration for all Saturday festivities will occur in Nelson Field House beginning at 11:30 a.m.
The free event is co-sponsored by BU Athletics; Community Government Association; Drug, Alcohol and Wellness Network (DAWN); living and learning communities; Program Board; Quest; Student Recreation Center; Residence Life; and WBUQ.
