Leadership Program adds new member


BLOOMSBURG - Justin Noll, the former plant manager/executive director of Cherokee Pharmaceuticals in Riverside, recently joined the Bloomsburg University Leadership and Executive Education Program (BU LEEP) as a principal partner. BU LEEP is an organization dedicated to leader and team development by combining classroom seminars with experiential indoor and outdoor training. 

After retiring from Merck in 2013, Noll completed his MBA at Bloomsburg University, and joined forces at BU LEEP with Darrin Kass, professor of management and MBA director, and Brett Simpson, executive director. He graduated from Villanova University as a chemical engineer in 1980 and served five years in the U.S. Navy, with his final assignment working in the Secretary of the Navy’s White House Liaison Office. He spent 28 years in the pharmaceutical industry.

Noll said he joined LEEP as a principal partner “as a means to combine my passion for continuous improvement and leadership development with my love of adventure and the great outdoors.” 

LEEP programs focus on leadership and team development, conflict and communication, customer service, continuous improvement, and strategic planning. BU LEEP has worked in conference rooms and on mountain tops with companies such as Capital One, ING Direct, General Dynamics, and Geisinger Health System.
