BLOOMSBURG — An exhibit of sculptures by Ron Lambert is being featured in Bloomsburg University’s Haas Gallery of Art through to Feb. 12. A reception is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 12, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. with an artist lecture at 1:15 p.m.
Lambert’s work focuses on the efforts of culture toward perfection and the beauty arising from failures in that effort.
Lambert received a Master of Fine Art from Alfred University in New York in 2004. Along with many artist grants and scholarships, including Nashville Scene’s Critic’s Pick, Best New Addition to the Art Scene in 2009, he has been featured in more than 10 publications. His works have been part of group and solo exhibitions and are included in six collections across the country. Lambert recently joined BU as associate professor for sculpture and 3-D design.
