BLOOMSBURG — The second French film in a semester-long series will be shown at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania’s McCormick Hall, room 2303, on Thursday, Sept. 26, at 7 p.m. The films are open to the public free of charge.
“L’Auberge espagnole (The Spanish Apartment)” is told from the viewpoint of the main character, Xavier, a graduate student who goes to Barcelona to study for a year. He moves into an apartment with several international students, becoming close friends with them and learning a lot in the process. The 2002 film was directed by Cédric Klapisch and stars Romain Duris, Audrey Tautou, and Judith Godrèche.
