BLOOMSBURG— “Ideas Rebuilt in My Garage While Contemplating Good and Evil,” an exhibit by sculptor and painter Travis Townsend, will be featured in Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania’s Haas Gallery of Art from Sept. 28 to Oct. 23. The exhibit is open to the public free of charge Mondays through Fridays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturdays from noon to 2 p.m.

Townsend uses “a mixture of reclaimed building materials, art student’s wood scraps and other hardware store materials” to create the majority of his sculptures. Many of his paintings have been published in Manifest National Drawing Annual and New American Paintings.

Bloomsburg University is one of 14 universities in the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education. The university serves approximately 9,000 students, offering comprehensive programs of study in the colleges of Education, Business, Liberal Arts and Science and Technology.
