Rev. Jeffrey F. Thoms BLOOMSBURG – Campus Catholic Ministry (CCM) at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania has a new director, the Rev. Jeffrey F. Thoms. In his new position, Thoms hopes to provide a “home away from home” for the students.

Thoms, who grew up in Chambersburg, previously served as parochial victor at Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish, Lewistown, and Saint Jude Thaddeus Parish, Mifflintown. He is replacing the Rev. Don Cramer, who served as CCM director for four years and recently became administrator of Saint Monica Parish, Sunbury.

“College is a time of transitions. My purpose is to serve as a priestly presence for students who wish to nurture their faith in the university context,” said Thoms.
Thoms, who has been a priest for 10 years, also serves as administrator of Christ the King Mission, Benton.

Bloomsburg University is one of 14 universities in the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education. The university serves approximately 9,000 students, offering comprehensive programs of study in the colleges of Education, Business, Liberal Arts and Science and Technology.
