BLOOMSBURG — Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania’s Gospel Choir will hold its 16th annual Gospelrama concert on Saturday, April 19, at 3 p.m. in the Kehr Union Ballroom. The event is open to the public free of charge; donations will be accepted.
The concert, titled “Surrender,” will feature members of the BU Gospel Choir performing songs by popular gospel artists. The event will also feature the Christ Community Worship Center Music Ministry and the Hallelujah Praise Dancers. Pastor Laura Casterline of New Birth Ministries, Bloomsburg, and Mitch Floyd, former president of Lock Haven University Gospel Choir, will also participate in the program. Refreshments will be served following the concert.
The BU Gospel Choir has been a part of the Bloomsburg University Community for more than 20 years. The organization aims to promote education, to help recruit and retain students and to provide a positive and spiritually uplifting environment for its members and the BU community.
