BU student to give cello recital

BLOOMSBURG — A Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania student will give a cello recital on Sunday, March 4, at 2:30 p.m. at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 123 N. Market Street, Bloomsburg.

Emily Murphy, Worcester, is a senior music education major and will be accompanied by pianist Donna Gutknecht. They will perform Rachmaninoff's "Vocalise," Beethoven's Sonata No. 1 and Klengel's Concertino. The event is free and open to the public.
