BLOOMSBURG— The Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania Community Orchestra will host a symphony ball on Friday, April 28, from 6 to 10 p.m. in Kehr Union Ballroom.
The evening will feature dancing and music. Hors d’oeuvres and drinks will be served from 6 to 7 p.m. and coffee will be provided courtesy of the New Town Perk. Also from 6 to 7 p.m., the Susquehanna International Dancers will offer dance lessons.
The evening’s events will continue with dancing from 7 to 8 p.m. and 9 to 10 p.m. to music provided by the BU Community Orchestra, directed by Mark Jelinek, professor of music. The Burgess, Mitchell and Seal Trio will perform from 8 to 9 p.m.
The symphony ball is open to the public free of charge; donations will be accepted. The deadline for reservations is Friday, April 14.
