"I was very happy with how our teams handled the less than ideal conditions today," coach Bernie Empie said after the meet. "Our men's team is beginning to close the gap between one and seven and our women's team is looking solid with three front runners."

"I am looking forward to the PSAC meet in two weeks," Empie continue. "Both teams look poised to have strong showings and today obviously showed we are capable of handling adverse conditions. There is a good chance we might see similar weather in Edinboro. I am confident we will be ready!"

The Huskies will head to Edinboro for the PSAC Championships on Saturday, October 31.
