Bloomsburg Women's Cross Country is Ranked 13th in National Poll

BLOOMSBURG, PA -The Bloomsburg University women's cross country team is ranked 13th in the United States Track and Field Cross Country Coaches Association Division II Women's Cross Country national poll for the second week in a row.

The Bloomsburg women's squad was idle last week, but two weeks ago took first place at the Husky Invitational. Junior Angela Borealo (Easton/Easton) took first place, finishing in a time of 22:48 winning the 6,000 meter event by 18 seconds. Katie Meck (Dillsburg/Northern) finished third in a time of 23:20, while Ashley Shuck (Milton/Milton) was fourth in 23:45.

Adams State maintains their spot in the poll at first place, followed by Seattle Pacific in 2nd. From the PSAC, Shippensburg is ranked 14th, Kutztown 16th and Slippery Rock 22nd.

The Huskies travel to Iona College for the Meet of Champions on September 20th at 9:30 a.m.
