BLOOMSBURG, PA -The defending Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Champions Bloomsburg University women's cross country team has been voted to finish first in the PSAC pre-season poll. The Bloomsburg men's squad was picked to finish fifth in the pre-season poll.
The Bloomsburg women's squad is coming off the first PSAC cross country championship in school history as the Huskies snapped Edinboro's nine-year hold on top spot at the conference meet. The Huskies also captured first place at the NCAA East Regional for the first time in school history last year placing three runners in the top 10. Bloomsburg lost top runner Amber Hackenberg, but that was the only loss on the squad.
