BLOOMSBURG--Bloomsburg University women's tennis player Katie Hasyn (Lansdale/North Penn) has been named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division Player of the Week for the period ending April 15th.
Hasyn helped the Huskies to a 4-0 record last week by posting a combined 8-0 record in singles and doubles. Six of her victories came at the Bloomsburg Duals where she went 3-0 at number two doubles and 2-0 at number one singles and 1-0 at number one singles. Overall, Hasyn is 16-5 on the year in singles play.
This is the second time Hasyn has earned the PSAC East Player of the Week award and the fourth straight time a Bloomsburg player has won the award. In addition to Hasyn, Emily Murphy and Iida Hokkanen have also been named Player of the Week.
