Bloomsburg University Signs Four To Letters of Intent
BLOOMSBURG--Bloomsburg University wrestling coach John Stutzman has announced the signing of four wrestlers, Anthony Marino, Sean Boylan, Nick Wilcox and Luke Etter, to national letters of intent for 2010-11.
Marino from Liberty High School in Bethlehem, PA is projected at 125 pounds for Bloomsburg. At the 2009 PIAA championships he placed fifth at 112 pounds and is currently ranked third at 112 pounds in class "AAA" by PennsylvaniaWrestlingRankings.com. He is also ranked 22nd in country at 112 pounds according to Wrestling USA Magazine.
Boylan from St. Mark's High School in Wilmington, DE, will wrestle at 125 or 133 pounds. He is a top 100 Recruit in the USA according to Intermat Wrestling and is a two-time state champ in Delaware. He was also A New Jersey state runner once; a Super 32 Champion and a FILA Cadet National Freestyle Champion.
Wilcox from Greene Central High School in Greene, NY, is projected at 133 or 141 for Bloomsburg. He is a top 100 recruit in the USA according to Intermat Wrestling and is also a two-time New York State champion and a two-time Fargo All-American.
Etter, from Big Spring High School in Newville, PA, will compete at 174 pounds. Etter placed eighth at 160 pounds at the 2009 PIAA "AAA" state championships and is currently ranked third in the state in "AAA" by the PennsylvaniaWrestlingRankings.com.
"I am excited to add these four talented student athletes to our program," said Stutzman. "Each of them fit our program needs and will compete for starting positions right away. I look forward to helping them achieve their goal of becoming NCAA champions."
