Ashley Shuck Earns All-PSAC Honors in Track at 10,000 Meters

MILLERSVILLE--Bloomsburg University's Ashley Shuck (Milton/Milton) earned All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) honors with a sixth place finish at 10,000 meters at the 2009 PSAC Track and Field Championships being held at Millersville University.

Shuck, a senior, ran the eighth fastest time in school history finishing in 38:02.96. She will have a chance to go for a second All-PSAC honor when she races at 3000-meters on Saturday.

In the women's Heptathlon Sandy Anceravage (Bloomsburg/Bloomsburg) is in 12th place after day one of the competition with 2145 points. Anceravage ran the 100 meter hurdles in 17.49 seconds; posted a mark of 4'9.50" (1.46 m) in the high jump; threw the shot put 30'9.25" (9.38m) and ran the 200 meters in 29.74 seconds. Competition will conclude on Friday in the Heptathlon.
