Bloomsburg Tennis to Compete at PSAC Championships

BLOOMSBURG-The Bloomsburg University men's and women's tennis teams will compete at the Pennsylvania State Athletic Association (PSAC) Individual Tennis Championships October 10-11 at Shippensburg University.
Sophomore Ricky Dove (Port Matilda/State College Area) enters as the number one seed in the men's singles bracket and will face off against Mercyhurst's Adam Marnik in the opening round. Sophomore Seth Rybak (Huntingtown, MD/Huntingtown) and freshman Brandon Cummings (Tallahassee, FL/Chiles) are also competing, facing off against Andrew Sorgi of Millersville and Mercyhurst's Mijo Cotic, respectively, in the first round. Ryback and Cummings will also compete in the doubles bracket, going up against Sorgi and Drew Slocum of Millersville.
On the women's side, senior Katie Hasyn (Lansdale/North Penn) will face Kutztown's Sabrina Arnaud in the opening round on Saturday. Senior Alison Carney (Muncy/Warrior Run) will open against Becca Haener of Mercyhurst and sophomore Emily Palko (McMurray/Peters Township) will face Millersville's Andrea Konas. In the doubles bracket, Carney and Hasyn will face Katie D'Ambrosia and Jamie Ferrigno of East Stroudsburg.
Matches are set to start this Saturday at 8:00 a.m. at the Robb Sports Complex Tennis Courts.
