BLOOMSBURG- Billy Bryan (Denver/ Holy Name) has been named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division Men's Basketball Player of the Week for the period ending February 11, 2007.
Bryan was instrumental in the Huskies come-from-behind 82-80 win over Kutztown on Saturday. He scored 12 of his team-high 18 points in the second half to lead Bloomsburg back from a 21-point second-half deficit. Earlier in the week, Bryan scored 12 points and added five boards in a losing effort at #19 Millersville.
For the week, Bryan averaged 15 points and six boards per game and hit 57.1 percent (12-21) of his field goal attempts. For the season, Bryan is averaging 9.7 points and 5.4 rebounds per game, while shooting 55 percent from the field.
Bryan and the Huskies will visit East Stroudsburg on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
