BLOOMSBURG-- Bloomsburg University women's lacrosse player Kelsey Quigley (Lansdale/Methacton) has been named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division Player of the Week for the period ending April 6.
Quigley scored a total of nine goals and recorded one assist for 10 points to lead Bloomsburg to a 2-0 week with wins over East Stroudsburg and Millersville. Her nine goals came on just 13 total shots. She also added a total of 12 ground balls and two caused turnovers on the week. Against East Stroudsburg, she scored four goals on just six shots and picked up nine ground balls to help the Huskies to a 13-9 win over the Warriors. She then netted five goals on just seven shots and recorded an assist to go along with three ground balls in a 17-8 win over Millersville. With the two wins, Bloomsburg cemented its hold on second place in the PSAC East and remained just one game behind first place West Chester.
Quigley, who was previously the PSAC East Player of the Week on March 15, leads Bloomsburg with 27 goals, 31 points (four assists) and 36 ground balls.
