Men's Assistant Basketball Coach Ken Broomer

Ken Broomer begins his first season as an assistant coach on the Huskies sideline. Prior to his arrival at Bloomsburg, he was an assistant at Dickinson College where the Red Devils posted a 12-12 record. Before Dickinson, he was an assistant for four years at the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Over that period, the team set multiple school records and compiled a record of 66-39. Three players scored over 1000 points during those four years and one player was a Jostens Award Finalist and two-time conference scholar-athlete of the year.

Broomer is a graduate of Virginia Tech and received master's degrees from the Naval Post Graduate School and Tulane University. He has also worked camps at Villanova University, the U.S. Naval Academy and the University of Hawaii.

Men's Assistant Basketball Coach Michael Hamlin

Michael Hamlin begins his third season with the Huskies as an assistant coach with the men's basketball team.

A senior, majoring in management, Hamlin is a native of Philadelphia. He is a graduate of the Fels High School, where he was a member of the boy's basketball team. He was co-captain of the team as a senior.

At Bloomsburg, he was captain of the 2005 Intramural basketball team that represented Bloomsburg and won the Northeast Regional championship played at Boston University. The team also played in the national championship tournament in Atlanta that same year.
