Ward, a senior first baseman, led the Huskies and ranked 14th in the country in Division II in batting with a mark of .457. He also led Bloomsburg in hits with 69, doubles with 17, home runs with six and in RBI with 49. He had a .7-2 slugging percentage and a .539 on-base percentage. Ward was outstanding in the clutch hitting .529 with runners in scoring position and had eight two-out RBI.
For his career, Ward was second in career hits at Bloomsburg with 207, tied for seventh in career home runs with 17, fourth in RBI with 141, tied for sixth in doubles with 39 and finished ninth in career batting average with a mark of .358.
Donofry, a junior playing shortstop, was second on the team in batting with a mark of .396 and led the Huskies in runs scored with 45 and was second in hits with 65, doubles with 14 and in RBI with 30. He also led the Huskies in stolen bases with 18. Donofry was also tough in clutch situations for Bloomsburg getting 14 two-out RBI and hitting .583 with two outs and runners in scoring position. Donofry had 19 games with two or more hits and finished the year with a 14-game hitting streak.
Bloomsburg was 17-29 on the season.
