BLOOMSBURG— Registration for Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania’s 2018 Summer QUEST Adventure Camp and Leadership-In-Training Program is now open.
QUEST’s Adventure Camp, open to children 8 to 13 years old, offers a weeklong adventure day camp to keep campers fully active in the outdoors. Campers will participate in a range of activities such as teambuilding, rafting, hiking, rock wall climbing, high ropes/zip-lining as well as many other teambuilding activities and field games. While following a structured itinerary, QUEST adds new team activities to the mix every year to keep it interesting for returning campers.
The weeklong adventure camp will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday with camp dates running every week from June 11 to August 10; except the week July 6. The registration fee for the camp is $195.00.
QUEST’s Leadership in Training Program, designed for teenagers 14 to 17 years old, offers weekend leadership training with an overnight camping experience from Friday, June 9, to Sunday, June 11. Upon completion of the leadership training, responsible trainees will be selected to assist younger campers during one of QUEST’s Adventure Camp weeks as an unpaid volunteer.
This opportunity serves as a leadership opportunity for teenagers looking to pursue leadership positions after high school. Please note that participation in one of the adventure camps following the weekend training program is not guaranteed. The cost of the training program is $100.
