COE holds Future Careers Expo

BLOOMSBURG— Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania’s College of Education held its third annual Future Careers Expo in the Kehr Union Building on Nov. 9.

The event was open to middle and high school students and their parents from over 15 regional school districts. Over 200 students and their parents attended the expo and gained meaningful information for the students’ future career paths.

This year, representatives from nine Bloomsburg University departments and schools joined with 29 industries and governmental agencies representatives to talk about the career fields and opportunities available within our region.

Bloomsburg University is one of 14 universities in Pennsylvania’s State System of Higher Education. The university serves approximately 9,600 students, offering comprehensive programs of study in the colleges of Education, Business, Liberal Arts and Science and Technology.
