BLOOMSBURG—Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania’s Quest program is hosting Raft Wars, a fundraising event to benefit the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, on Saturday, Dec. 2, at Nelson Field House Pool.
Teams of up to five members are required to make rafts from cardboard and duct tape large enough to support one team member who will race the raft across the Nelson Field House pool. Prizes will be awarded for the fastest and most creative raft on the day of the event.
The registration fee for participants is $10 per person or $20 per person with an official Raft Wars shirt. If participants wish to buy a shirt, the deadline to register is Thursday, Nov. 16. Participants who do not wish to buy a shirt can register until Monday, Nov. 20.
