BLOOMSBURG— Bloomsburg University's baseball team will host Baseball Halloween Day at the Ballpark on Saturday, Oct. 28, at Danny Litwhiler Field from 9:45 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The Huskies are encouraging a $10 donation for adults, and $5 donation for students for entry to the games with all proceeds benefitting the Make-a-Wish Foundation. The day will begin at 9:45 a.m. with a youth baseball clinic for children ages 6 to 12 years old featuring instruction by Huskies players and on-field batting practice. All children participating in the clinic are encouraged to wear a Halloween costume.
Following the clinic, children will have to the opportunity to decorate pumpkins and take pictures with the BU players from 11 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. At noon, the BU Baseball Halloween game will take place featuring four innings of the Huskies playing in full Halloween costume. To conclude the day, children are invited to run the bases at 1 p.m.
