SLP graduate program among nation’s best

BLOOMSBURG—Bloomsburg University’s speech-language pathology graduate program has been ranked among the top programs in the country.

BU’s speech-language pathology master’s degree program ranked 16th in data gathered between Sept. 1, 2012, and March 31, 2015. More than 70,000 students representing roughly 1,600 graduate programs nationwide rated and reviewed speech-language pathology programs for Graduate Programs.

Graduateprograms.com reaches current and recent graduate students through scholarship entries and social media platforms. It evaluates graduate programs in 15 categories, covering topics such as academic competitiveness, career support, financial aid and quality of network.

Graduate Programs ranked the University of Wisconsin–Madison in the top slot, followed by Teachers College at Columbia University and Georgia State University. Edinboro University, BU’s sister institution in Pennsylvania’s State System of Higher Education, is rated 21st.
