BLOOMSBURG— Registration is open for the Quest Program’s series of hands-on, adventure- and education-based summer camps at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania’s upper campus. Led by staff from BU’s Quest Outdoor Leadership Program, day camps for youth ages 8 to 13 will run Mondays through Fridays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Adventure Camp sessions, scheduled from June through August, are week-long day camps for active children. Participants will take part in a variety of Quest activities, including a 50-foot climbing tower, 200-foot zip line, rafting or kayaking, team building activities and field games.
Also offered is a two-day Leader in Training program for youth ages 14 to 17. The weekend program, including an overnight campout, runs from Saturday, June 13, at 9 a.m. to Sunday, June 14, at 5 p.m., with a focus on leadership development. At the conclusion, participants will have the opportunity to serve in assistant leadership roles during a session of Adventure Camp.
