BLOOMSBURG — Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania’s Big Dog Reading series presents the author, web editor and film director Stephen Elliott on Wednesday, March 28.
At 4 p.m. in the Kehr Union Multipurpose Room A, he will discuss “Writing for New Media.” He will read excerpts from his book, “The Adderall Diaries” at 7 p.m., McCormick 1303.
Elliott is the author of seven published works, including a novel, “Happy Baby.” His memoir “The Adderall Diaries” was described as “genius” by the San Francisco Chronicle and Vanity Fair. It was named the best book of the year by Time Out New York, a best of 2009 by Kirkus Reviews and one of 50 notable books by the San Francisco Chronicle.
His writing has been featured in Esquire, The New York Times and GQ. He is also the editor of the literary and culture website, The Rumpus, and director of the film, “Cherry,” scheduled to be released this spring.
